We are over the moon to see Raegan and Jack on the front cover of Your Glos & Wilts Wedding magazine. Raegan bought her dress with us. Raegan’s dress was a stunning fitted satin, backless dress designed by White Rose. These beautiful photos were taken by the amazingly talented Daniella Marinos.

Sleeves are back in this year. We are seeing dresses with all different types of sleeves. From a full length sleeve to a flowy full length.
Colour
Weather its your cup of tea or not, colour is coming back in. From floral dresses to pastel shades and even black accents.
Sustainability
For 2022 we will be seeing more sustainable bridal gowns. With collections that are simple and more wearable. "can i wear this again". Bridal fashion that is versatile such as detachable skirts and bodices.
Accessories
Brides this year seem to be creating more of an individual look using accessories. We are seeing a return in gloves, capes and hooded capes, they seem to be a modern alternative to the veil.

Hello all brides-to-be, I’m Pippa, Co-owner of Veils of Berkeley.
As a plus size woman myself I understand how curvy brides feel when looking for their dream wedding dress.
Shopping for your wedding dress should be fun and super exciting whatever your size. We are all beautiful and deserve to feel this way.
Here at veils of Berkeley we have created a beautiful boutique that is both relaxing and comfortable. It is very important to us that everyone feels welcome and at home.
I like to make all of our brides feel like a princess and I do have a unique talent for picking the perfect gown.
It is important to try on every style of dress and not let any body insecurities hold you back. We are all conscious of our body shape but wedding dresses are constructed with corset bodices which hug and accentuate your curves. Every woman deserves to feel magical on their wedding day.
Here are some of my top tips to ensure that you enjoy your wedding dress shopping experience.
- Do your hair and make-up so that you feel as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside.
- Have happy people with you at your fittings.
- Keep an open mind and try on lots of different styles.
- Know your budget
- Don’t be rushed
- Have fun! There will be lots of laughing.
At Veils of Berkeley, we never rush any of our fittings. I love getting to know our brides and hear all about their plans for their Wedding Day.
